Moving Moving Moving...

Sorry we haven't been doing any posts for a while now....I don't seem to have a lot of spare time anymore...CRAZY!

We have sold our little investment house in Port Hardy and have moved to North Vancouver. So far, we are still unorganized. Our furniture doesn't come until either Friday, Dec 1st or Sunday, Dec 3rd. (The snow here is incredible. At least a foot and more to come today) and apparently Port Hardy has seen 6 inches overnight and is now facing high winds....FUN. So travelling the island highway is not really desirable right now, especially for a huge moving truck. The roads were pretty good when we travelled down on Monday, Nov 27th, but I think I did experience a couple of minor heart attacks while in the passenger seat. I felt we were driving so much faster than we really were. Jason just laughed at me.
The ferry took us for a wild ride. There was not a lot of cars on, so as we were pulling into Horseshoe Bay we hit a few waves really hard and it sounded like we just ran over a small boat or something. Then we started rocking back and forth, not great for someone who gets sea sick. Believe me, I was happy to be off of that thing.

So now here we are. I really feel like we are just visiting, not actually residents of North Van. Maybe when our furniture shows up, it will hit us. The one good thing about living in the city is we don't have to do our Christmas shopping all in one day like before. We can do a little at a time. Nice! I love Christmas and I want to enjoy the shopping a little at a time as well.

Okay, off I go to play in the snow. I am going to try and post more often.

Happy Winter....

Love the Cattermoles :)
